This course covers the fundamentals of setting up and running Google Search Ads (Adwords) and Google Shopping Ads. You will setup your first campaign during the course and be able to have your advertising up and running before you leave!

This course is for:

  • Understand Ad Strength and how it impacts your ad performance.

  • Tips for improving ad performance such as including a call-to-action and using ad extensions.

Setup and optimise Google Shopping Ads:

  • Create a Google Merchant Center account and link it to your Google Ads account.

  • Understand the product data feed requirements and how to format and submit your product data.

  • Set up a Google Shopping campaign in Google Ads, including configuring campaign settings and linking the product feed.

  • Optimize product listings by leveraging best practices for product titles, descriptions, images, and other attributes.

  • Understand the different bidding strategies and setup for your campaign.

Bidding and Budgeting:

  • Understand how bidding works on Google Ads and how the ad auction determines which ads are shown.

  • Understand key metrics such as Quality score, Ad relevancy.

  • Learn how to set your budget for your Google Ads campaign.

  • Understand the different bidding strategies available in Google Ads and learn how to choose the right one for your campaign.

  • Learn how to adjust your bids to optimize your campaign's performance.

Tracking and Measuring Success:

  • Learn how to set up conversion tracking on your website so you can measure the success of your Google Ads campaigns.
